Our Story

Gaucho Roots was born from a simple idea: that the things we use every day should be made to last, and made by hand.

The knife holds a special place in Argentinian culture. It sits at the centre of the asado, passed around the table, shared between friends and family. It is a tool, but it is also part of who we are. Every Gaucho Roots knife carries that tradition, forged in Argentina using techniques passed down through generations of craftspeople.

We started Gaucho Roots to bring these knives to Australia, two countries that share a love of fire, food and good company. Each piece is made entirely by hand from 420 stainless steel, finished with a genuine stag horn handle and bronze detailing. No two are ever the same, because real craftsmanship never is.

Every knife we sell is one we would be proud to use ourselves. That is the promise behind the name.
